Kick Ass Trailer for Assassin Action Film ‘Kitty The Killer’ from Thailand

“We are nothing if we don’t obey the Agency.” Epic Pictures Group has revealed a new official US trailer for a kick ass Thai film called Kitty The Killer, about a female assassin. Don’t confuse that title with her being a kitty killer, or a killer with a kitty – not the same. A highly trained teenage assassin, Dina, and her mentor, Charlie, form an unlikely duo as they unexpectedly join forces to fight back and stop a sinister plot and save millions. When Dina is betrayed by Keng’s organization, she unites with Charlie for vengeance. Featuring brutal animated sequences blended with live action. “The cast and crew worked tirelessly to bring Kitty the Killer to life, creating jaw-dropping action sequences.” Starring Ploypailin Thangprapaporn as Dina, with Denkhun Ngamnet as Charlie, Nara Aniwat, Vithaya Pansringarm, and Somchai Kemglad as Keng. Of course this reminds me of Kill Bill Vol. 1, especially the animation, but it still looks good. The final montage of action seems legit. After playing at festivals all over the world, it’s releasing in the US this May.

An underground espionage organization called The Agency employs a league of topnotch female assassins known by the codename Kitty to do their dirty work. When the Kitties’ mentor The Grey Fox is betrayed by The Agency and marked for death, he recruits a goofy young office worker to take his place. The newbie cutup chews the scenery as he transforms from zero to hero under the brutally rigorous training of the cool-as-ice Kitties. Their next mission? To wreak vengeance upon the double crossers! Kitty the Killer is directed by Thai filmmaker Lee Thongkham, director of the movies Tears of Remedy, The Last One, The Maid, The Lake, and We Are Here previously. The screenplay is co-written by Sorawi Alapach and Teerat Vanavongtanate; created by Lee Thongkham. It’s produced by Salem Jemiran Mohd Kutty and Natphon Siriphakcharath. This initially opened in Thailand in June 2023 last year. Epic Pictures will debut Kitty the Killer in the select US theaters on May 3rd, 2024, then on VOD starting May 7th coming soon. Any good?
