Actress Sonali Khare is set to star in the upcoming movie, MyLek. It is slated to release in theatres worldwide on April 19. Sonali Khare stars in the lead role along with her daughter Sanayaah Anand in the movie. It aims to explore the relationship of a mother and daughter. MyLek is directed by Priyanka Tanwar. A few weeks ago, the makers released the teaser of the movie, which was loved by cinema enthusiasts. The makers have now released MyLek’s trailer, which has gone viral now. As per the trailer, the film will showcase the tale of a single mother, who is navigating a loving but complex bond with her teenage daughter. Things start to go downhill as the daughter hits puberty, and the mother becomes busy with her professional life.

Failure to give her proper time and miscommunication play a major role in the broken relationship between a daughter and the mother, as per the trailer. Umesh Kamat, Sanjay Mone and Bijay Anand are playing prominent roles in the movie. The trailer of the film was launched in the presence of Marathi popular stars like Amrita Khanwilkar, Harshada Khanwilkar, and Sanjay Jadhav. The music of the movie is given by Pankaj Padhgan. Cinematography is done by Mridul Sen.

The movie is produced by Kalpita Khare and Bijay Anand under the banner of Blooming Lotus Productions. While talking about the movie, Sonali Khare said in an interview that it is a family movie and should be watched by everyone. “This movie tells the story of every mother and daughter,” Sonali Khare said. While sharing her experience of the movie, she said that she had a lot of fun during the shoot of the film. She called her relationship with daughter “sweet and sour”. “Hence it became easy to play this character on screen,” Sonali added.

This will be the first film of Sonali Khare’s own production house, Blooming Lotus Productions. MyLek was announced on the occasion of Mother’s Day 2022.
