New Hollywood film set to be one of 2025’s biggest flops and it’s not Snow White | Films | Entertainment
There are two big Hollywood movies hitting cinemas this weekend. One of them is Disney’s Snow White live-action remake, which, despite an anti-woke bashing, received mixed reviews and is expected to open at over $100 million worldwide.
That’s not too bad considering the backlash and a budget upwards of $270 million.
The Mouse House is used to smashing the $1 billion barrier with its nostalgic CGI fests, although it’s now always a guarantee.
It would need to make around $675 million to break even, which isn’t impossible, even if it is an uphill battle.
Meanwhile, a major Hollywood star leads this weekend’s other major release, which is expected to be one of the biggest box office bombs of the year.
Both The Alto Knights and Snow White are released in cinemas this Friday.
