A behind-the-scenes video taken from the set of Thunderbolts shows off Yelena Belova’s new costume and a logo for the upcoming MCU movie.

On Instagram, Yelena Belova star Florence Pugh posted a video that sees her briefly tour the set of Thunderbolts. In the video, Pugh shows off her character’s new costume, reveals a logo for the movie, and gives fans a quick glimpse at some of the sets that will be featured in the new Marvel Studios film.

The logo seen in the video noticeably has an asterisk after the word “Thunderbolts,” though it’s unclear what this means at this time.

What do we know about Thunderbolts?

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Thunderbolts “centers on villains and antiheroes going on a mission that was supposed to end with their deaths.”

The movie is being directed by Jake Schreier, who previously made 2012’s Robot & Frank and 2015’s Paper Towns. The script for Thunderbolts was written by Eric Pearson, Lee Sung Jin, and Joanna Calo.

Along with Pugh, Thunderbolts stars Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes, Hannah John-Kamen as Ava Starr/Ghost, Wyatt Russell as John Walker/U.S. Agent, Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, David Harbour as Alexei Shostakov/Red Guardian, Olga Kurylenko as Antonia Dreykov/Taskmaster, and Harrison Ford as Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross.

Top Gun: Maverick’s Lewis Pullman has also replaced Steven Yeun in the movie and is reportedly playing Sentry, while Geraldine Viswanathan has replaced Ayo Edebiri. Both Yeun and Edebiri dropped out of the project because of scheduling conflicts.

Thunderbolts was initially supposed to begin filming in 2023; however, production was delayed because of the Writers Guild of America (WGA) and Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) strikes.

Having recently switched release dates with 2025’s The Fantastic Four, Thunderbolts now hits United States theaters on May 2, 2025, from Marvel Studios.
