Farhan Akhtar’s war drama, 120 Bahadur, has released in theatres today. Clashing with it is Milap Zaveri’s Mastiii 4 starring Riteish Deshmukh, Aftab Shivdasani and Vivek Oberoi. While the former is a tribute to the martyrs of the 1962 Battle of Rezang La, the latter is an adult comedy.
120 Bahadur, a tribute to Charlie Company and the brave Ahir boys who sacrificed their lives to protect the country against the Chinese, marks Farhan’s return to acting after 4 years. Mastiii 4 is the latest part in the franchise.
Both films are expected to take a decent start at the box office. 120 Bahadur had special preview shows organised on Rezang La Day on November 18.
120 Bahadur is directed by Razneesh Ghai, whereas Mastiii 4 is helmed by Milap Zaveri.

In an exclusive interview with Zoom, Aftab opened up about the theme of the film Mastiii 4 and said that it doesn’t normalise objectifying of women or promote extramarital affairs. He shared, “Yes, from Masti 1, people said we were objectifying women and promoting extramarital affairs. But the premise of the film was simple: three men want to have fun outside, but end up learning a lesson from their wives. We were never trying to preach. It’s all for entertainment, not to oversensitize people. Many serious films have tackled the topic of affairs, but no one questions those.”

According to Bollywood Hungama’s report, the CBFC asked the makers of Mastiii 4 to modify three dialogues and one to be replaced. As per sources, words like ‘behen’ and ‘item’ were asked to be replaced. An alcohol brand name was changed to a fictional one. In addition to this, the CBFC reportedly instructed the makers to delete a 9-second long ‘top angle animal humping visuals’.
