Prime Video subscribers can now watch A Quiet Place star John Krasinski in Amazon MGM Studios’ newest action thriller movie. As of today, Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan: Ghost War movie is now officially available to stream on Prime Video. It serves as a continuation of Krasinski’s popular TV show, which lasted for four seasons from 2018 to 2023.

What do we know about John Krasinski’s new Prime Video movie?

Jack Ryan: Ghost War was directed by Andrew Bernstein, with Krasinski and Aaron Rabin co-writing the screenplay. Krasinski plays the titular role on the big screen for the first time after leading Prime Video’s Jack Ryan series. The ensemble cast also includes Wendell Pierce as James Greer, Michael Kelly as Mike November, and Betty Gabriel as Elizabeth Wright, along with Sienna Miller, Mckenna Bridger, Max Beesley, Douglas Hodge, and JJ Feild. So far, the movie has already garnered a 36% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes, based on 11 reviews.

Before the film, Bernstein previously directed and executive-produced Jack Ryan Season 2. The action thriller was produced by Krasinski, Allyson Seeger for Sunday Night, and Andrew Form. Executive producers were Skydance’s David Ellison and Dana Goldberg, alongside John Kelly and Carlton Cuse. The movie was a production by Amazon MGM Studios, Paramount Pictures, and Skydance.
