Rebecca Ferguson’s $300 Million Essential Action Hit Scores Big on Streaming Ahead of ‘Silo’ Season 2
Rebecca Ferguson has blossomed into one of the biggest stars in the world over the last few years, largely thanks to her role in the Mission: Impossible franchise. However, she said goodbye in Dead Reckoning after several appearances, and she wasn’t brought back for the final installment earlier this year, even though plenty of fan theories insisted she would return. Still, despite the controversial ending for Ferguson’s Ilsa Faust at the hands of Gabriel, the film is still finding success several years after it first hit theaters. Although it’s streaming exclusively on Paramount+ in America, Dead Reckoning remains one of the most popular movies around the world on VOD platforms like Apple TV and Google.
Like most Mission: Impossible movies, Dead Reckoning was a massive hit among critics and audiences. The film is currently rated at a Certified Fresh 96% from critics and even a Verified Hot 94% from audiences on Rotten Tomatoes. It’s one of the highest-rated action movies ever, and it’s also one of the most expensive. With a reported budget of just under $300 million, Dead Reckoning grossed $571 million at the worldwide box office. The film may not have met its break-even point, but other sources of revenue helped it to become a financial hit for Paramount.
Christopher McQuarrie directed Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning with a script he wrote with Erik Jendresen. McQuarrie has become one of Cruise’s most frequent collaborators over the years. Earlier in 2025, they reunited for the final Mission: Impossible movie, The Final Reckoning, and they’re also hard at work on the third Top Gun movie. They’ve even teamed up in the past for Edge of Tomorrow and Valkyrie.
Is Rebecca Ferguson in the New ‘Peaky Blinders’ Movie?
Rebecca Ferguson has been cast in the new Peaky Blinders movie, but details about her role are being kept under wraps. Ferguson joins Cillian Murphy, Barry Keoghan, and a host of other stars in the film, but it’s unclear at this time when it will be released. It’s been almost a year since The Immortal Man wrapped filming, and fans are expecting a big announcement any day now. While promoting his recent Netflix series, House of Guinness, writer/director Steven Knight confirmed that an announcement on the film was coming soon, but things have been silent since.
Be sure to watch Dead Reckoning on Paramount+ in America, and stay tuned to Collider for more streaming updates.
