Veteran actor Anupam Kher has shared a special post for Ahaan Panday, who made his Bollywood debut with Mohit Suri’s blockbuster movie ‘Saiyaara’ opposite Aneet Padda. Anupam Kher welcomed Ahaan to the world of cinema, and called it a wonderful jungle of ‘creativity, success, failure’, and many ‘ups and downs’. The Saiyaara actor was deeply touched by the post, and he thanked the ‘Metro…In Dino’ star for his warm welcome. Anupam Kher’s directorial ‘Tanvi The Great’ starring Shubhangi Dutt clashed at the box office with Saiyaara as both films released on July 18.

Anupam Kher took to his Instagram account to share a selfie with Ahaan Panday. In his note, he welcomed the young actor to Bollywood. “NO GENERATION GAP HERE! Welcome #AhaanPandey to this wonderful jungle of creativity, fun, success, failure, blood rush, excitements, disappointments, joy rides, awards, rewards and lots of ups and downs. May you have a long long innings in this magical world of madness called cinema! Jai Ho! #Saiyara #Actor,” he wrote.

Ahaan Panday dropped a heartfelt comment on the post that read, “Truly grateful for your warmth, sir. Your words will stay with me as I step into this jungle to experience its might, light, and magic.”

Earlier in July, Anupam Kher shared a video message congratulating the team of Saiyaara, as well as Tanvi The Great. He said that a good film will always find its place, and that he is genuinely happy for the success of Saiyaara.

In a video shared on social media, Anupam Kher said, “Last week two films were released, one Tanvi The Great and one Saiyaara. Saiyaara has taken over the whole country with its magic and because it is a YRF film, YRF is my parent company, Yashji, Pamji, Adi, Uday, all of them are a part of my family.” He said that he is extremely happy that the film emerged successful. He pointed out that both he and Mohit Suri are Mahesh Bhatt’s protégés, and coincidentally, their significant films were released on the same day.

“The love that you have given to Tanvi, I can’t measure it in money. Of course, when a film becomes as successful as Saiyara, it helps the industry. It makes other people courageous to make more films. But courage is also about making Tanvi The Great. We are getting so much love, prayers, blessings from the families of autistic people or those who believe in goodness,” he said. He expressed his happiness that audiences embraced both films, giving one heartfelt love and the other both love and box office success.
