Marvel star Tom Holland suffers injury on set of latest ‘Spider-Man’ movie: Report
Actor Tom Holland suffered a mild concussion during the filming of the movie “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” in Glasgow, Scotland, according to Deadline.
Filming was suspended on Friday after Holland, who plays Peter Parker and his alter ego, Spider-Man, was taken to the hospital as a precautionary measure. A stunt gone wrong caused the 29-year-old star’s head injury. The star is expected to be back on set within days, according to Deadline.
Holland wasn’t out of action for long. Deadline reported that he attended a charity event this past weekend in London with co-star and fiancée Zendaya for Brothers Trust, the foundation headed by the star and his siblings, Sam, Harry and Paddy.
Zendaya, also 29, stars as Michelle (MJ) Jones-Watson, who is Peter Parker’s love interest in the epic franchise.
The film is due for release in theaters in July.
