‘Jaw-dropping’ Marvel movie with ‘perfect’ cast lands streaming date
One of the biggest superhero movies of the year will soon be available for streaming

The Fantastic Four: First Steps official Marvel trailer
Disney+ has announced the free streaming date for one of the biggest blockbusters of the year – and there’s not much longer to wait.
Released back in July, the hit film reinvented some of Marvel’s most iconic heroes ahead of their return in next year’s highly-anticipated Avengers: Doomsday.
The Fantastic Four: First Steps was a hit with critics and fans, scoring an impressive 86 percent critics score on Rotten Tomatoes and an even more staggering 91 percent from audiences.
After earning more than $500 million at the box office, even more fans will be able to enjoy the riveting comic book spectacle as it’s arriving on Disney+ on Wednesday, 5th November.
That means there’s just over a week before fans can either revisit the cosmic comic book epic or dive into the action for the first time.
Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn and Ebon Moss-Bachrach star as Marvel’s famous family, Reed Richards, Sue and Johnny Storm and Ben Grimm, who use their incredible abilities to protect New York.
When their world is threatened by the greatest threat it has ever seen, the planet-devouring entity known as Galactus (played by Ralph Ineson), the Fantastic Four must venture beyond their solar system in pursuit of answers from his enigmatic herald, the Silver Surfer (Julia Garner).
The film has already scored rave reviews from fans, including from one Letterboxd user who wrote: “Truly just Fantastic in about every way you would want! A story that develops the family to incredible heights giving each member a moment to shine, incredible score that highlights each moment, & another building block for the future of the MCU.
“Everyone was casted perfectly & the chemistry between the family was everything I wanted.
“Galactus was jaw dropping, Silver Surfer was bada**, I just loved my time so much with this family! This is the future of the MCU.”
Someone else praised the all-star cast that “couldn’t be better” and went on: “Everything else is outstanding as well.
“The movie looks wonderful with its beautiful visuals, especially when we reach outer space, features an impressive and menacing – as well as comic-accurate – Galactus, many thrilling action scenes, a great film score by Michael Giacchino, superb art direction and special effects.
“Fantastic Four: First Steps is easily one of the best instalments in the MCU, a fresh, funny, exciting and beautifully retro-futuristic movie with brains, a heart and a soul, as well as a fantastic quartet of lead actors – the first Fantastic Four movie which truly does Marvel’s First Family justice.”
Get Disney+ for 24p a day

Disney+ has announced that it will up its annual subscription by 10% on September 30. Until then, shoppers can still lock into its £89.90 annual plan, which works out less than 30p a day.
And a final five-star review gushed: “This movie is so awesome. It’s cosy, it’s entertaining, and overall it’s a breath of fresh air.
“I was so unsure about the casting, and I couldn’t have been more wrong for doubting whether the actors were the right choices or not. Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach were the PERFECT casting for the Fantastic Four family.
“They made Reed, Sue, Johnny, and Ben feel like a family more than the 2005 version did. This movie is perfection.”
