Dhurandhar The Revenge – JioHotstar
One of the biggest releases of the week is Dhurandhar The Revenge, which premieres on JioHotstar on June 4. The sequel brings back Ranveer Singh as Jaskirat Singh Rangi, also known as Hamza Ali Mazari. After establishing himself as the most powerful figure in Lyari, Jaskirat sets out to eliminate his remaining enemies. The film also explores his past and reveals how he became part of a covert mission. The action drama also stars Akshaye Khanna and Arjun Rampal.
Made in India: A Titan Story – Amazon MX Player
Premiering on June 3, Made in India: A Titan Story tells the remarkable story behind one of India’s most successful consumer brands. Adapted from Vinay Kamath’s book, the series follows visionary businessman Xerxes Desai as he works towards creating an Indian watch brand with the support of JRD Tata. The show features Jim Sarbh as Xerxes Desai and Naseeruddin Shah as JRD Tata.
Michael Jackson: The Verdict – Netflix
Netflix’s documentary Michael Jackson: The Verdict arrives on June 3. The film revisits the pop icon’s 2005 criminal trial and examines the allegations, legal proceedings and media attention that surrounded the case. Through archival material and expert insights, the documentary looks at how the verdict influenced Jackson’s public image and career.
Maa Behen – Netflix
Streaming from June 4, Maa Behen brings crime, comedy and family drama. Directed by Suresh Triveni, the film follows a widowed mother and her two daughters whose lives take an unexpected turn after they become involved in a crime. As they attempt to hide a corpse in a close-knit neighbourhood where everyone knows each other’s business, the situation spirals out of control. Malayalam action thriller Patriot premieres on June 5. The story centres on a defence expert and former Judge Advocate General officer who uncovers a far-reaching conspiracy involving politicians, business leaders and a government surveillance programme. After discovering that powerful spyware is being used against ordinary citizens, he becomes a target while trying to expose the truth before crucial evidence disappears.
Brown – ZEE5
Also arriving on June 5 is Brown, a crime thriller set in Kolkata. Karisma Kapoor plays Rita Brown, a police officer struggling with alcoholism while investigating a serial killer case. As the investigation becomes increasingly complex, she must battle both the killer and her own personal challenges.
Office Romance – Netflix
Romantic comedy fans can look forward to Office Romance, which premieres on June 5. Starring Jennifer Lopez and Brett Goldstein, the film follows two ambitious colleagues who begin a secret relationship. As they try to keep their romance hidden from co-workers and management, professional pressures and personal insecurities begin to complicate matters.
Gullak Season 5 – SonyLIV
The popular family drama returns with its fifth season on June 5. Gullak Season 5 once again follows the everyday lives of the Mishra family. This season sees Annu dealing with questions about his future, while Aman returns to college carrying new secrets. Meanwhile, Shanti unexpectedly gains popularity online, and Santosh focuses on bringing modern upgrades to the family home. The series stars Jameel Khan, Geetanjali Kulkarni, Anant Joshi and Harsh Mayar.
