This week, Stephen Colbert took his final bow with “The Late Show,” and the last episode is now available to stream on demand. “Rick and Morty” and “The Chi” are among the shows to release new seasons, and “The Boroughs” and “Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed” are some of the best totally new series that premiered this week. There are also a few new movie options that have hit streaming services, including the latest adventure for “Jack Ryan” and a special “Kill Bill” double-header.

7: The Late Show with Stephen Colbert

It’s the end of a late-night era. “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” (and “The Late Show” as a whole) came to an end on Thursday night. The last episode features some final laughs and special appearances, capping off Colbert’s tenure as host. While some clips can be found on YouTube, the full episode is now streaming on Paramount Plus.

6: Rick and Morty

“Rick and Morty” returns for a ninth season this weekend, and it’s shaping up to be another kooky outing for the adult animated sci-fi series. The show follows a mad scientist and his grandson as they embark on various misadventures. You can live stream the show on Adult Swim/Cartoon Network through DirecTV MyEntertainment or Sling TV Blue on Sundays, or start streaming new episodes on HBO Max mid-June.

5: The Chi

Showtime’s long-running series, “The Chi,” returns for one final season. The series, created by Lena Waithe, follows a group of characters living on the South Side of Chicago. The eighth season will wrap up the stories of their intertwined lives and mark an end for Showtime’s longest-running current series. New episodes drop on Fridays on Paramount Plus Premium.

4: Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan: Ghost War

Jack Ryan’s time on TV might have come to an end a few years ago, but he’ll set out on (at least) one more mission in “Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan: Ghost War.” John Krasinski returns as the titular character, attempting to lead a normal civilian life, but he’s pulled back into the CIA fold. The film is streaming on Prime Video.

3: Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair

No, there’s not a new “Kill Bill,” but there is a fresh version of the iconic films. “Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair” puts the two movies back-to-back as they were originally conceived and adds new footage that didn’t make the original releases. The final version of the Uma Thurman-helmed double-feature is over four hours long, and you can stream the full feature on Peacock.

2: The Boroughs

“The Boroughs” is produced by the Duffer Brothers, the duo behind “Stranger Things,” and once again pumps supernatural stakes into a neighborhood. But rather than focusing on tweens and teens, the new series follows the members of a retirement community who begin to realize that everything is not as it seems. The series features a star-studded cast, including Alfred Molina, Alfre Woodard, Denis O’Hare, and Geena Davis, among others. All episodes are streaming on Netflix.

1: Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed

Tatiana Maslany, who pulled Emmy Award-winning double (or, septendecuple) duty on “Orphan Black,” returns to TV after her “She Hulk” stint. She swaps clone wigs and green fists for a darkly comic thriller, portraying a newly divorced woman who believes she’s witnessed a crime, which sends her down a wild rabbit hole. The first two episodes are now streaming on Apple TV.
