Netflix Gears Up For Sept 10 Launch
Netflix has unveiled the first official trailer for Call My Agent! The Movie ahead of its launch on September 10 in France.
Directed by Emilie Noblet from a screenplay by Fanny Herrero and Lison Daniel, the long-awaited move adaptation of the hit show sees Camille Cottin return as former talent agent Andréa who is now on the cusp of directing her first feature film.
Calamity hits on the eve of the shoot when the lead actor quits the production for “a shitty role” in a Wes Anderson film, and Andréa falls out with her producer.
Desperate, Andréa joins forces with Noémie (Laure Calamy), who is now a successful reality TV producer, believing she can easily manipulate her. But as she faces a complete recasting, on-set disasters, and a legal battle threatening the custody of her daughter, everything begins to unravel.
Today’s trailer also features long-running Call My Agent! cast members Thibault de Montalembert, Grégory Montel, Nicolas Maury and Liliane Rovère as well a guest appearance by Laurent Lafitte. Other announced returnees include Ophélia Kolb and Fanny Sidney with new arrivals featuring Laetitia Casta, Vincent Macaigne and Anne Marivin.
There is no sign yet of George Clooney whose guest appearance in the movie was announced last year, although Netflix has confirmed to Deadline today that the star does have a cameo role.
