Sky Cinema movie premieres in May 2026
Sky Cinema brings movie fans three new premieres every week, with the added bonus of Paramount+ to enjoy with your Sky Cinema subscription, two free Vue cinema tickets per month and now all the latest major HBO Max movie premieres.
We’ve compiled the upcoming month’s new film premieres in one handy place so you can plan your movie viewing. This list is subject to change, as premiere dates can shift, but we’ll update the list when we know of any changes.
If you’re a Sky subscriber but don’t have access to the movie channels, it costs £11 extra per month for a minimum 24-month contract.

1 May – Wuthering Heights
A bold reimagining of Cathy and Heathcliff’s forbidden love story. Stars Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi.
2 May – Spinal Tap II: The End Continues
41 years after their groundbreaking mockumentary, Spinal Tap are forced to reunite for one final concert. Stars Michael McKean and Christopher Guest.
3 May – Don’t Let’s Go to the Dogs Tonight
During the Bush War’s final days, an 8-year-old tries to make sense of her life and her family. Stars Lexi Venter and Embeth Davidtz.
8 May – Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale
When Mary finds herself at the centre of a public scandal, the entire household must learn to embrace change and the future. Stars Michelle Dockery and Hugh Bonneville.
9 May – The Shadow’s Edge
A retired tracking expert sets out on a mission to track down an elusive cyber-criminal who has disappeared with billions. Stars Jackie Chan and Leung Ka Fai Tony.
10 May – Honey Don’t!
Following a series of strange deaths, a small-town private investigator looks into a mysterious church linked to them all. Stars Margaret Qualley and Aubrey Plaza.
15 May – The Running Man (2025)
In the near future, Ben Richards must enter a deadly competition where he’ll be hunted by professional assassins in order to save his daughter. Stars Glen Powell and Josh Brolin.
16 May – We Bury the Dead

17 May – Across the Desert

23 May – One Last Deal

29 May – Fuze
