The main cast from the first movie are likely to return, meaning that Steve (played by Jack Black) Garrett “The Garbage Man” Garrison (Jason Momoa), Henry (Sebastian Hansen), Natalie (Emma Myers) and Dawn (Danielle Brooks) will be back.

It has also just been announced that actress Kirsten Dunst (who played Mary-Jane in the Spiderman 2002 movie) will be playing Alex in the new Minecraft movie.

Alex was introduced into the Minecraft games in 2014, and was the first female default character skin available to players, alongside Steve.

She has ginger hair and wears a green t-shirt and brown trousers.

In a post-credit scene at the end of the first Minecraft Movie, Alex knocks on Steve’s door – so it seems like she will play a big part in the next movie.
