The Last Airbender Movie Leaked Online
Set to release on October 9, 2026 exclusively on Paramount+, clips from Avatar: Aang, The Last Airbender have officially been leaked online. The movie is set years after the end of Avatar: The Last Airbender, following Aang’s final battle with Fire Lord Ozai. Now young adults, Aang and the Gaang are back together as Team Avatar embarks on a new adventure.
Avatar: Aang, The Last Airbender is merely the first of three upcoming Avatar: The Last Airbender movies, which will seemingly bridge the gap between the original The Last Airbender series and the sequel, The Legend of Korra. According to director Lauren Montgomery’s Instagram, Avatar: Aang, The Last Airbender was screened last month for the cast, meaning a complete version of the film does currently exist. The leaker did not share the entire movie, but did post several clips from the film on their X, all of which have been DMCA’d, more or less confirming the leak as legitimate.

Nickelodeon Accidentally Emailed Someone the Full Avatar: Aang Movie
Copyright Strikes Confirm the Leak is Real
According to X user @ImStillDissing, Nickelodeon accidentally emailed them a copy of the entire Avatar: Aang, The Last Airbender movie. Considering the film isn’t scheduled to release until early October, it seems very unlikely Nickelodeon was merely sending out a review screener.
All clips of the movie have since been scrubbed from X via copyright strikes, verifying the leak as genuine. It seems that Nickelodeon actually did email @ImStillDissing the entire movie. Before being deleted, the leaked clips showed Team Avatar’s new designs as young adults, appearing notably younger than in the original promotional image for Avatar: Aang, The Last Airbender.
While fans of the original Avatar: The Last Airbender series have expressed concerns over all the main characters being recast with ethnically and racially appropriate voice actors, the movie’s actual art direction is superb. Avatar: Aang, The Last Airbender looks like it’ll blend 2D and 3D animation together, sporting beautiful cinematography and a jaw-dropping color palette that’ll do the world of The Last Airbender justice.
Leaker @ImStillDissing refused to leak the whole movie, instead choosing to drip-feed a few clips. What little has been posted looks downright fantastic, though, making it all the more confusing why Nickelodeon pivoted from a theatrical release in order to stream the film on Paramount+ instead. From what was shared, Avatar: Aang, The Last Airbender will also feature scenes of the Gaang as children, before aging them up for the main plot.
Avatar: Aang, The Last Airbender releases exclusively on Paramount+ on October 9, 2026.
